In 2002 Julia Jones read a report published by the UKTI and British Council highlighting the difficulties promoting British music in the huge US market. In an attempt to create an event that would help the promotion of UK acts in this market Julia got herself a classic British double-decker bus and started touring America with british bands. Jones opened up her eccentric tour bus to the intrigued US audience after shows and played the latest UK music through the on-board sound system donated by Kicker Audio.
